Listen, this is a military bar on a military installation. If you want 5 star service go somewhere else. For a base bar, you have great views right on the water, you get cheap food and drinks and no frill service. We had chips and salsa with cheese dip - cheap and good. We had philly cheesesteak sandwiches - cheap and good. We had rum runners...guess what - cheap and good. Enjoy yourself, enjoy the view, enjoy watching the huge iguanas running around.
Unbelievably amazing place. The staff was courteous and super-fast with the food. The food was amazing, and the beer was cold!! The staff was super friendly and nice to my children and wife. The best sunsets in all of Key West for half the price of out in town. We're extremely lucky to have places like this to go to as Military members. Thank you for all that MWR does for us.
A hidden gem (truly, we accidentally found this while exploring). Absolutely must visit here to sit on the beach with their Adirondack chairs angled at the sunset. Great spot to watch the game too, lots of tvs and seating, servers were OG and were great.
The singer Colete Kendal was amazing. What a good way to spend Memorial day: watching the sunset, good food, good people, good music, good drink, perfect spot.
We were happy to see a couple of vegetarian choices are on the menu now. We had the vegetarian burger with fries and a choice of different cheeses. It was stacked high with fresh toppings and we were able to add our own condiments. The burger was tasty.
Great views, yummy food. Loved that they had a corner with some outdoor couches to sit and relax with friends.
We were driving around and trying to find the perfect Sunset in the Keys! Hands down we hit the jackpot! You felt safe immediately & the island is amazing! The Food and Bar Beverages are separate. You walk up to bar and order drinks and run a tab if you would like. Food is the same fashion. Order across the dining area outdoors and the folks will bring to you. We went with the Smoked Fish Dip and the Sweet Potato fries! Started off with the Best Key Lime Pie! Hidden Gem to look for! We witnessed the most excited lil Trivia coordinator! Good times! Great photo ops! Support this place!
We only stopped here for drinks, not food, but they were 4-star delicious! The atmosphere is so nice, and of course, being an MWR facility, the prices were much lower than off post. We’re planning to stay at the Lodge here on our next trip down, so I expect we’ll visit the bar many times.
